Why are so many people talking as if the cheating was entirely Ines's fault . I know she wanted this to happen for her plan. But idk it rubs me the wrong way ? Because at the end of day Carcel actively chose to do it . But I have to clarify I don't blame him given his circumstances it's understandable and he has come a long way too . They are both kinda flawed and it's fine .

Anyway Raul best boy . I wonder if Emilliano will show up at any part of the story ? I binged first half thinking he would but he never did

She used her waiting lady name, Juana. Juana appears in today’s chapter. She gave him her favorite horse name to use. Alejandro. So, I like to joke and say that her waiting lady married her favorite horse. StoryofMinglan

    What the hell

What made you think they were hopeless romantics? Haha the manhwa covered a lot up. No, they never meet again. HRAensn

I wanted to see the context in the novel for this ‘hopeless romantic’ line and sure enough it was about Ines saying that she and the painter were fools together because they didn’t know the value of anything even well deep in poverty. It’s Tappytoon translators who romanticizes the thought by saying ‘hopeless romantic’ while author like romantic lovers with no solution. While it can be somewhat the same, the other term is often romanticizes in English as more than just stating facts.

Here is the novel excerpt and direct translation:
However, Inés did not know the proper value of the expensive goods and did not feel the unit of money, so she sold most of the extremely valuable goods at a very low price until the last one, and Emiliano went along with Inés's foolish decision, not knowing how expensive they had to sell such expensive items.

They were really romantic lovers with no solution (Tappytoon manhwa says Hopeless Romantic)... In the midst of such shortcomings, Emiliano crawled on all fours to love and support her as if she were a princess of a poor of a country. (Meaning, she did nothing for herself and was still treated like a noble lady and therefore learned no practical skills even while they dirt poor)
