Because it’s hot and fun to watch. People tend to disagree on romance when it’s action related mangas or webtoons. So I usually take such opinions with a grain of salt. I’m glad the author is taking that route for both Kayden and Jiwoo.
A someone who enjoys romance across all genres, sometimes it's not ppl disagree cuz it's action it's that there's is a time and place for it and romance just doesn't really have a place in this story.

Gotta disagree with it not having a place in the story. Mostly because this story has always had a light and playful tone and the romance, especially Kayden and Guestella's, adds to that humor. So I guess it's just a matter of taste in this case. I'm just glad to be among those who enjoy it because it would otherwise sour my experience with the webtoon.
jiwoo and Jiyoung were really cute from the very beginning it's just when they introduced Guestella the story seamed like it was only abt romance and misunderstandings and it just kind was like why? Why add a character to create this romantic interest from misunderstanding niche in this story that's the point?
Actually from what I’ve seen, most of those who hate the romance hate Jiwoo and Jiyoung and actually like Gestella and Kayden. Also this is just the turn of the current arc. The comedic aspect of Kayden sending duel letters as though they were confession letters stayed on point with the way the story has been written so far. And Guestella is obviously going to turn into a cat or a dog and just be another one of Jiwoo’s protectors. I’ve always seen the adults in Jiwoo’s life like overprotective substitute parents. So Guestella just appears to be adding herself to the fray to me. Her having feelings for Kayden just makes it all the more interesting to me.

I agree substitute parents, I feel like having feelings are fine but I just hope it doesn't become like the story's whole/major part of its personality, rn we don't really know wuts gonna happen. Or if the author is gonna keep coming back and reiterating the whole romance thing.
This isn’t how they generally go about writing, though. So I’d rather trust their usual track record than assume it turned into a romance webtoon.
I'm glad that a lot of ppl agree that there shouldn't actually be romance in this story, a little bit we can let it pass but come on seriously why push Gestella onto Kayden? Just why?
