It is kind of hard to explain without spoiling everything but yuh it was all just a misunderstanding. The reason why the ML became abusive in the 1st timeline was not because of the fact that the MC stole the program from him but more on because he thought that the MC didn’t love him and he betrayed his feelings for him, that’s the first misunderstanding and the second one is because he thought that his brother and his husband had an affair which fuels by the fact that the MC instead of clearing it he just provoked the ML about it (not that I’m blaming the MC, like I said the 1st timeline was a hot mess of misunderstandings.)
I’m not depending the shitty behavior of the ML in the past but anyone who would have thought that their spouse slept with another person would see red in that situation right? Even in the country where I live, it is written in law here that if an spouse caught his/her spouse in the act of sexual intercourse and in the event where he/she had inflicted both the spouse and the mistress serious physical harm or happen to kill them then the perpetrator will not be charged with any case. Well it is in the country where I live.

You guys are mixing everything up. As a novel reader, let me tell you some stuff so you guys don't completely think ML is just a trash asshole
Yes, ML in his 1st life was an asshole and a red flag but NOT a black flag. All he did was neglect MC and imprisoned him, causing the MC to suffer with lonliness and other mental illness (also bc of this family). He felt like he had no one and he was also experiencing nighmares because ML's brother raped him. Our ML did NOT rape our MC. It was ML's brother. But because of his sleepless nights and ML neglecting him even on his ruts, this caused him to unable to distinguish on who raped him and MC thought ML did. And also MC was pregnant with ML's child when he killed himself which is why ML didn't want any kids in this life time. I do not condone ML's actions but this manhwa has a lot plot twits so don't just suddenly jump to conclusions because what you think might be true, won't be.
