Yuuuuhhhh the MC efff-up real bad in the first timeline. Ido loves him even before everything got messed up. If the MC only told the truth and gave Ido the reason that he wanted Ido would have forgiven him. But the second reason why he got neglected, we really can’t blame the MC for that. He has been through and I’m sure the last thing he wanted was to explain to Ido when he even thought that the MC was gifted to his brother.

That’s ok, I got the korean novel one and was kind of lucky that my phone can automatically translate other languages. The novel is very satisfying and worth reading I must say. But it may not be for those who are heart lighted because this one is kind of dark. It tackles more on the PTSD and depression.
He really is not bad. Though I don’t agree that anyone in particular deserves to be treated that way but both are in the wrong in the 1st timeline. The MC was too afraid to be abandoned that he got blinded by his want to be acknowledged by his father that he didn’t trust Ido. Ido on the other hand was too blinded by his rage and love because he thought that Sejin never really loved him.
Ido got the punishment for what he did and is paying it till the end of the novel even after Sejin forgave him.
I dropped the novel like thrice because my stomach couldn't handle it and sometimes skip it when it's too sickening so that probably also casued me to miss some important lines. Still, it's well written about depression and lonliness so I left a 5 stars

Well one of the reason why he was locked up in the house in the 1st timeline is because he has a case. His father framed him for an embezzlement and tax evasion case. He doesn’t really have a place to go so even after the ML got angry and start abusing him he didn’t let him out, it was like some sort of protection in a sense but yeah. 1st timeline was a mess and full of misunderstanding. The ML felt his love was betrayed thus he start becoming abusive.
Do you not get my point? Go read the novel and tell me if he can be compared to his brother. Plus, at least ML had his reasons for doing so. But of course,those reasons were just misunderstandings unlike his brother who tortured MC for no reason. And to be honest, I would quite literally ignore MC too because he betrayed ML?

The tone in which you implied was like I excused his abusive behaviors and forgave him.
And I was comparing the ML to his brother and remarked that “All he did was...,” implying that he is significantly better than his brother, which, as you can clearly see, did not include even the slightest suggestion of excusing his behavior.

Yes, ML in his 1st life was an asshole and a red flag but NOT a black flag. All he did was neglect MC and imprisoned him, causing the MC to suffer with lonliness and other mental illness (also bc of this family). He felt like he had no one and he was also experiencing nighmares because ML's brother raped him. Our ML did NOT rape our MC. It was ML's brother. But because of his sleepless nights and ML neglecting him even on his ruts, this caused him to unable to distinguish on who raped him and MC thought ML did. And also MC was pregnant with ML's child when he killed himself which is why ML didn't want any kids in this life time. I do not condone ML's actions but this manhwa has a lot plot twits so don't just suddenly jump to conclusions because what you think might be true, won't be.
