I think it means "the former villian, lord angel" as in he was the final boss and secret romance character unlocked at the end of the OG game. so former villian, lord angel.
But doesn't he die in the OG
In the game, there is a secret route, in which the Star Maiden can save him and he becomes romanceable, that's why.
