Damn, endeavour is lucky that Rei is kind enough to stick by his side even aftetr he lost everything.
All in all, it’s a bittersweet ending for this family.It’s the lack of communication, ego and misunderstandings that lead to how it is right now. Everyone’s feeling are valid and I’m so proud of Shoto who had the most character development besides Enji.
As a reader, before i know Enji’s backstory i hated him so damn much, but after i see why he acted the way he is, i can understand to an extent of his frustration. Like imagine you work your butt out day and night, left and right, to the point of exhaustion but people will never acknowledge you, heck some of them mock your hardwork just because you cannot surpass the 1st spot who have an extra privilege that you are not born with. I might say his reaction is a bit extreme but nonetheless he’s still a good hero for the country, just a terrible father ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I hope Hori gave us updates on this family’s progress in the side stories. Im soooo invested in this drama. Way better than the Kardashian XD.
