I feel the same way, there are so many times when the mom could’ve proved that she was changing but just kept making bad choices.
It shows how she's not used on how to be a mother but because she has second try now she's trying to be the mother her daughter always want her to be (kind, loving and heard her) that's why she maybe dumb at making decisions about being mother but she's trying to change it now
