Nah apparently he's supposed to be in his late 30s and people were complaining that he looks too young so the author made him look older. It's probably permanent.
I think the ML just has some eye bags because he’s stressed and tired, the artist tried to express that by giving him the eye wrinkle that is usually used to show age. That’s probably why the ML looks a little older. Once he’s feeling better he’ll most likely go back to normal.
