Courtney is very strong, isn't she? Honestly, whenever I finish a chapter, I always remember the scene when she was slapped and none of her family, except for her nephew, tried to help her. Everyone was scared, thinking that their home will be taken away, and she was too yet, she was the only one who fought for it because of her nephew who deserves a better family that this. I was half expecting for her family to thank her for what she has done, but none of them, except for her nephew by trying to give her some more soup, thanked her, especially her good-for-nothing "brother."
I know. She is a very strong woman. Just super worry that she's too strong cause even a strong woman has a breaking point. I hope the ML loves her not just for his kinks and fetish desire but for who she is as well.
And, that scene when the nephew was the only one on her side was such a sweet and sad scene. ╥﹏╥
