True, like I'm sorry but at this point people are just blatantly ignoring the signs. We saw back in chapter 12 when Heongjae was licking Myeonggi's bloody nipple bandage that he had a weird thing for blood and bruises. In chapter 18 a prisoner tells us that Heongjae cut someone's leg off but bitches are still acting surprised. Personally, I think this story is really interesting so I'll keep reading but I'm not going to be delusional about the characters and what kind of story this is.
