It’s the matter of having respect for your relationship. She didn’t know about the bed scene which justifies her reaction, considering he’s haven’t been acting like himself for days.
idk for you but it just doesnt feel right, sure it will be his job but it wouldnt really hurt for him to just ease back into his relationship instead of jumping straight to "oh btw im going to be an actor and currently i chose a project that has a bed scene in it, you supported me before right so im sure youre okay with me doing a bed scenes, looking forward to your support and thank you!" right after getting back together with your partner after 4 years of no contact
