No, the ML is head over heels whipped starstruck and in love with our MC. his expressions and how rarely he lets them slip. it's mentioned that ML has a good hold of other people's emotions and could tell MC is interested in him, but the MC is too stoic, and it's hard to get anything out of him. so what starts as a light curiosity becomes a full blown crush. And ML just wants to be with him and see him laugh

he's also obsessed with how each part of his body is built like a rice cake lol at some point he bit his monami pen so hard thinking of his cheeks pouting like mochi, his legs like garaettok, and his face marked with blush looking like chapsaelttteok

what happens when they meet again? and i heard they’re both in relationships when they meet again, what happens then?

okay it's been months since I've completed this so from what i recall, they meet in the middle of the road when seo han geon blocks it off after he sees Won clearly in distress. Won was in a car ride with his ex, who he broke off with because he never loved him, and he found the relationship ultimately fruitless.

The ex, who I can only describe as the typical arrogant CEO ML type, would not take no for an answer and hounds him even to his workplace (he's a CEO of a tech company and Won is a programmer aiming for masters(?) or something of that ilk.)

So Won relents and agrees to talk it out with the ex. it doesn't help that after years of abuse from his father, he developed this sort of complex of seeking out the pain since this is what he's used to. he's conditioned himself that he deserves his torment. So his relationship with this ex is extremely toxic, and their sex is nothing but an outlet for both of them.

During the car ride, Won finally realizes he's had enough and blows up in the car, insisting to stop it, that they're over, and that he should stop harassing him at work.

The ex still thinks he's playing hard to get.

Seon Han Geon saw this from the moment they left the building so he followed, and blocked the car, forcing the ex to stop. This is how they meet after years. the reveal was so dramatic lol I think the author went through an entire page describing it

anyway so Won decides to ride in Han Geon's car and they don't talk at first. There's a certain point where he asks about the gifts he sent and Won was dumbfounded because he never received anything. Come to find out the boxes he'd been receiving were from him, but were never addressed and had no notes so he thought they were from his ex and threw them away.


Won found him searching thorough the dumpster to get the gift back and they finally have a confrontation.


Won essentially asks, bet you have a wife and kids now, huh? and geon looked offended. He says he has a business partner, not dating anyone. And he asks Won back how unfair it is for him to accuse him of seeing someone else when he's the one who just rescused Won from an abusive ex. They both cry from that, as though they can't really expect each other to be celibate in between all those times they weren't even sure they'd see each other again? and the person Won had been emailing for a web design project was none other than Geon. When Geon heard from his business partner that there's this kid named Won who wants to do our website, Geon got so giddy excited and took the reigns, even sending him gifts.

all in all their meeting is bittersweet. They have a lot to catch up on, lots of misunderstandings to clear up. but what remains unshakable is how they love each other still, despite everything. Geon, the ML, is so persistent but patient, he makes my teeth ache.

referring from the chapter 'therapy, ' yes, he did. he also slept with others. Won asked (near the dumpster of all places lol) 'Did you keep ypur promise to keep it in your pants' and Geon said he couldn't.

Won says he shouldn't feel sorry for that, because he couldn't either, with how he just got out of a toxic relationship. They went through so much he couldn't possibly hold that over his head. Geon also alludes to this previously.

it is implied with how he got to where he is, especially at a bar scene with Won where he witnesses firsthand how easily he transitions into a suave social butterfly. when he worked/studied in Australia, Won stalked his profile and saw him in yachts with girls, Won asked if those were women he dated, and Geon mentions it was from a trio to Singapore for networking.

Then the manager of Kang Beer (Geon's company) said he had a girlfriend, which Geon denies, saying he asked them to spread the rumor, to avoid any entanglements.

He then says, after all this, that 'It doesn't matter, I'll win you back. I'll make you like me again. "
