About inheriting the company it is a bit weird, but I think the author used that as a way to put emphasis on how important it was for the grandpa to find the girl. Also, I believe grandpa has other kids/grandkids so they may have inherited the company instead of MLs dad.
Also, (and please anyone correct me if I'm wrong) but the grandpa definitely treasured that grandma, but I'm not sure if it was because they were once lovers or just really good friends. I didnt see that explained in the story.
Yea i get it that he really treasured the grandma and all. What i meant is, if he didnt want his son to inherit the company, he could have just paid people to find the girl he was looking for... ESPECIALLY after his had brought fake ones.
Sorry I'm not quite sure either, that would be the most logical path! Youre right that if grandpa had simply hired a professional investigator he would've known about the fire and would've known that entire family died. But I guess author had to find a way to make the plot work ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
Ok i did read up to like chapter 17 and i really need to know...
1. Is MC gonna get paid ? Or did he get nothing ? (Why the fuck did he even agree to risk it all for a chance to get triple....he himself said this puts his mother on the line)
2. What does the ML's father gets out of fooling the grandpa?
