On the book we get Ji Gu’s perspective and on his perspective they tell us that he realized not only cause the character looked the same as him, but actually because: he and Yeowoon were in a call, and in the building they live someone was saying something through the intercom’ (about Ji Gu’s mom moving the car). But Ji Gu realizes he’s not hearing the message in his room because it’s sound prof, but rather through his headphones. And he realizes that Neuta has to be someone in the building.

Idk why we can’t hear the intercom message on Yeowoon’s perspective
