I would just like to leave a reply abt how your comment just made me immediately laugh and giggle, because it's like a call out, but respectfully lol. Love this kind of vibe of just casually calling for the attention of fellow readers to discuss something. I just thought that I've been seeing a lot of discussion forumscomsec that's a bit exhausting to participate or even read because everyone just make it so intense of a heated discussion (not in the most pleasant way). Kudos to u fellow shipper. (●'◡'●)ノ
(I don't have an answer yet, i was just abt to read it lmao.)
"How do we feel about this one, fellow yaoi brothers and yaoi sisters? How's the shipping potential?" I think I answered the question very straightforwardly: I'm not feeling it they are like super minors I find that creepy. How is this question not aimed at me I thought all fujoshi trash are equal under the Yaoi Shipping Gods' eyes
You did answer the how we feeling part and I am very thankful for that, you are the first one to actually answer me, lol, and it was definitely aimed at any yaoi shippers, which does include you.
To be fair to SquishyCat, though, your answer does not answer the matter of potential, regardless of personal preferences. And that's fine, if you don't feel it you likely wouldn't pay any attention to this aspect, so you wouldn't be able to answer this part of the question!
To their merit, still, if we take a look at Haikyuu (15 y/o) or naruto (12 y/o), it's a similar age frame but we can easily point out that there is shipping potential.
Also, no ship is obligatory sexual, so I would disagree on the inherently "creepy" aspect you brought up. Promised Neverland or Sakura Card Captors, as an example, have an even younger ensemble and the kids crushes on each other are canon and there's nothing creepy about that.
So, objectively speaking — considering lack of interest in girls from at least one of the parts, and présence of any of closeness, dependency, willingness to sacrifice for each other, fun banters, compliments, annoying each other, etc, the type of thing people supposedly do when they have their first crush —, the matter of whether there is potential or not remains unanswered.
hmmmm u got a point there.
I guess for my own preferences shipping is usually sexual, and personally it didn't cross my mind at all despite my fujoshi tendencies while reading. But I have not read all available chapters I'm taking it a bit slow so maybe further down the line there's something?? The manga is a bit of a shitpost probably as it kind of makes fun of modern shounen tropes (kids acting super mature for their age, people who are "special" and have seemingly superhuman abilities, the "I am an old guy trapped in a boy's body GUESS I HAVE TO DATE A HOT LOLI NOW") so I read it more as satire or something closer to Saiki K? Like there's not any interesting subtext to pick up on till where I've read.. Don't know if this helps lol sorry if it's a disappointing response.
