    I

My question is, how can it NOT be love? Or just be a different version of love?? Maybe I just am not quite understanding the dynamic .

I feel like Kang Moo loves Kirin?? Just in his own way and own capabilities. He doesn’t want Kirin dead or hurt. He looks out for him. He does take Kirin’s thoughts and feelings into account. He wants Kirin around, he gets jealous, he also gets angry when Kirin is angry or distant with him.

Perhaps Kang Moo can never feel empathy or remorse, and will be selfish, but with the way he acts, I mean, it seems to me he does love Kirin and has feelings for him.

Moo is a diagnosed Psychopath and heres my ted talk on Kang Moos weird relationship lmao

in chap 34 Moo asks "Love? What's that?"
in chap 39 the detective mentions moo doesnt have emotions and is manipulating kirin
in chap 41 moo gets angry when kirin doesn't want to see him for a bit
in chap 56 he refers to kirin as something that belongs to him
in chap 79.5 author says moo feels possession over Kirin

It seems that psychopaths can get attached to people as if they were items? it also seems they will form relationships for gain

So my conclusion was that it is a "kind" of love but not in the sense of a normal person, Moo wants his object to stay with him and stay in good condition is what i interpreted their relationship as

thank you for giving me an excuse to say all of this lololol
