CCS is my fav shoujo! When I was thinking romance between kids I also realized there are not a lot mangas like that. I can only think few. Even in mangas for kids MC's are mostly high-schooler. When I was 12 I aslo wanted to read/watch romance like that. And only animes were Cardcaptor Sakura and Shugo Chara. Shugo Chara also has a manga if you're interested.
