What's more concerning for me, how the big companies like Mr. blue, lezhi etc is releasing even more violent, explicit graphic grape.
They decide what's trending. What to publish or not. They can expand their influences of the taste of the public.
It's very concerning how they are specifically promoting those and very constantly.
I mean, grape is not new on BL scene but nowadays it's even more violent and graphic on kr bl ... and since there is a very constant flux of these type of comic, people can get desensitized.

I do wonder if kr novel writer / kr comic artists have to work with editors? Because man, some do need more input on their stories ... specially novels writers ... some needed more time to cook their stories ...

I don't know man, that not my impression on them. They always rant on twitter and kr readers seem to really hate cheating and like the couple of the stories to be faithfull ... but what's trending on comics there seems to be changing and in my opinion the companies also have a big say on that.

I’ve given up on koreans being decent human beings. If they don’t respect LGBTQ+ and SEA people, why should i respect them? If there’s too much abuse and graphic on kr BLs, i go to either JP or CN BLs. Not perfect but at least they don’t romanticize them, i feel more hard work and love/passion reading JP and CN works than i do with KR, with them its like i’m reading that it exists for work or the artists or author are afraid of losing their jobs
