Ido killed himself because he loves Se-jin. Every bad things that Ido did in the past was all because of misunderstanding. Ido loves Se-jin but thought that Se-jin never really loved him thus Ido told Se-jin that he will regret it.
Even after Ido thought that Se-jin seduced his brother and Se-jin asked for divorce he never divorced him all because his love is kind of an obsession. When he forced imprint Se-jin that’s when he realized Se-jin’s true feelings. Ido regretted it but it was already too late. Se-jin gunned himself to death because he doesn’t know who the father of his child. Ido followed Se-jin to death because he couldn’t live without him. Ido just loves Se-jin too much.
In this time line, no matter how much Ido wants to get Se-jin all to himself, he can’t make himself do that. He’s afraid that he will ruin Se-jin again and that it will drive Se-jin to death again. This time he wanted Se-jin to be independent and free and after that all happen Ido will kill himself to make Se-jin fully free. Well that didn’t happen, eventually the two end up together.

He did, after they imprinted the second time. The rules in this omegaverse is that when two imprinted their feelings, memories and souls are both tied up together until one of them dies and that’s the only time the imprint releases but in Ido’s case even after he regressed to the second timeline he is imprinted one sidedly to Se-jin that explains why Ido understands Se-jins feelings more than himself. The moment they imprinted the second time, all of the memories Ido holds both the first and the second were shared with Se-jin.
Ido asked for 3 weeks and after that he will let Se-jin go and commit suicide. Se-jin who didn’t know that well he eventually will learn about it since they both shares the same feelings due to the imprint. He will learn about Ido’s plan for suicide. But Se-jin didn’t want that for Ido so they talked it out and Ido just cried because he thought it will be really the end for the two of them but Se-jin said. “ I have been married and I have been engaged. Do you want to be in a relationship with me?” Ido was taken a back because he wasn’t expecting Se-jin to still want him back so he cried again. Well they ended up together don’t worry. Even Se-jin said to Ido that at the end of that memory we are happy.

Based on a spoiler further down in the comments, ido killed himself after sejin did in his first life. I dont get why he would kill himself for someone he raped and treated like that. Im so confused
i get that sejin probably acted like his dads pawn and ido hated him for it maybe, but damn i can tell when the past is revealed its gonna kill me
