no i’m not gonna defend jo for cumming on ian’s face when he’s unconscious that’s fucking weird but he never physically and mentally hurt ian and listen to what he says. your stupid ass can’t even see tj has been hurting ian PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY FOR 16 YEARS he broke his leg and prevent him from achieving his dream! put him in prison for two years and gave ian huge ass debt cause he don’t want ian to make clean money paid him off and run away from him he made ian go back to deliver drug when he KNEW how traumatized ian was with drugs. he keep “accidentally” hurt ian, slapped him once as well cause he was caught up in the moment

TJ did indirectly hurt Ian even if he didn’t mean it. When I watch their “communication” it feels like both of them or mostly Ian is on edge and anxious, he’s always feeling negative around TJ, wondering if something would happen etc, TJ going away, etc. they never try to talk it out properly. and the rest of what the other person replied to you.

It's 19 years I'm pretty sure. And they've been hurting each other mentally all this time. That's literally their relationship, they're codependent, they're not consciously doing it to harm each other tho. They're doing push and pull with each other. And I literally just mentioned the leg. That's the one and only physical harm. The debt, yeah that's true. That's probably the worst one for me but each part of the backstory makes TJ's motivations clearer so I'm kind of hoping for it to be explained better. He "KNEW" because he was the one to get him out of this, to his own detriment. While "he don’t want ian to [...] run away from him" is part of TJ's reasoning, Ian either would never run away or he would do it /for/ TJ. "That'll be enough time for him, too", "I knew everyone I love eventually becomes miserable", "Asking "why don't you go abroad..." what a useless question" with TJ's smile as the background, always answering "When are you leaving?" with "I'm not sure", "Is this what I really wanted?" .
And "slapped him once as well cause he was caught up in the moment" what... Ian literally got between TJ's hand and Yangji. You watch too many movies if you think it's easy to suddenly stop your hand when you're already swinging. TJ was /shocked/. And Ian slapped TJ soon after for being an ass.
Them being on edge, anxious and scared is because they care for each other and have shitty circumstances. I get that it's not healthy, but it's also not TJ's fault. They don't talk about things properly, the both of them. And when TJ tried, Ian always shut him out.
And you can't go " i’m not gonna defend jo" after saying "jo never physically or mentally harm ian"... He literally just did. And it wasn't done indirectly, didn't accidentally get out of hand, wasn't motivated by fear of losing him and trauma and he didn't even try to apologize. As for the mental harm we're yet to see it because Ian is oblivious but I'm pretty sure we will.
TJ and Jo really are one and the same yall gotta start getting that. Still team TJ though idgaf
