Though this is never going to have as clearly in the manga he actually really likes the MC but the Mc is to afraid of getting her heart broken because she knows the story and is constantly misunderstanding his efforts. As he shows no interest in the original female lead like in the story
So it’s probs gonna be a misunderstanding trope
Though I heard the novel is confusing and the ending makes the story a waste of time
