I absolutely loved this. It is so beautifully realistic and the characters were all so faulty and human. I especially love the fact that we come to see them come to terms with their sexuality and sort through their issues. It felt like an actual gay love story rather than fetish content. Don't get me wrong, I love reading BL but most of them tend to be a toxic straight story with a genderbent female lead and it's very obvious. Sometimes even in the way they take great pains to draw the MC as feminine as possible. This story feels like it actually understands gay people. I really appreciate that. Also, the amount of times they switched rooms had me almost throwing my phone at the wall but i completely understand, their emotions and thought processes were so flawed and hindered but oh my god, that's exactly how it is in real life. I can't give either of them shit bc I've been in a similar situation. It's easy to be a casual reader seeing their relationship from a detached point of view and saying "just communicate! They're so dumb!" It's another thing to experience it. Bottom line, I adored this book and read it at a stretch. Fluffy without being cringe, sexy without being straight up smut, amazing progression and honestly beautifully aggravating characters. Would definitely read again.
