I like a guy too for 5 years and realized I can't move on if I keep it to myself. I confessed and he thanked me but as I expected he can't reciprocate my feelings. We're still friends but the closeness is now gone.
I've been confessed and he's like my soulmate so proximity means nothing to us. Idk our relationship is weird I was just emotional cause it was simultaneously happening. I dont consciously feel many emotions period so its that was just a autoresponse to the matter. I dont actually need hugs or anything I just needed to get myself together
