oh! i start reading BL when its my first year in college now its already 6 years ive been reading blmanhwa.. maybe thats also why BL become so boring to me bcs the outdated/stale genre,story, top/bot chara still exist (i cant control this but i just feel so frustated why theres still ppl like or hype something outdated or stale)

if i may summarize, i see theres no quality improvement in storyline-plot-development in BL its always the same thing. while im agree if someone said since last year (start in global release era lzn) theres interesting and new genre in BL.. but i must say its just a few of them.. its not like i can control that right? so im just cutting my preference to blmanhwa and focus to what i love..
also.. i feel so jealous about rofan/romance manhwa that their creator really put everything to storyline,plot,conflict,development,chara,etc (esp rofan) like.. i want to feel like that too in blmanhwa but blmanhwa is always about fastpaced and good seggs scene right?(cry) like.. i always see in tiktok rofan/romance reader bragging about ml do something sweet/cute/danger to fl, ml-fl tension, their conflict-solution, etc. while blreader bragging about D size, top/bot position :’D lol when i realize that i feel so dumbfounded.. well at the end manhwa (bl/rofan/romance/action) is to entertaining the readers right? i think i just put too much thought into BL..
but youknow.. i only read BL.. i just want BL to keep exist with improvement every year like keep being interesting pls lol. so yeah.. idk

What’s Rofan? I think you’re generalizing manhwas, m-f stuff can be pretty generic too and it rarely feels interesting to me. I think why the mf stuff feels more plot driven is because alot of them are based on web novels which can take the time to flesh everything out and the artist has an outline for how the story will pan out. I do like darker stories BL tho which mf manhwa rarely has. I do think Japanese manga in general has better plot/romantic development than Korean manhwa.

generalizing? idk abt that ‘-‘.. but imo generic m-f still still working on the plot even its so simple and cliche while bl mostly just focus on smut plot like.. doesnt matter about the plot is(?)
yeah bl novel also got adaptation a lot lately and i love some of them. but theres a lot original m-f creator that really have brilliant works out there (mostly they work on webtoon). handling on original work is hard i know that, maybe thats why theres not really much creator original bl really good making original work (hope they learning tho)
i do too! bl dark story is interesting.. but i remember theres only few of them thats really good good yk (my personal taste)
ohh yessshhhh!!! im very agree about japanese has more better plot/romantic development! maybe these past 3/4 years theres always manga that catch my attention also japanese bl creator really good about creativity.
but its so hard where and when to reading it
i literally standing in my end of bl era, like i can see the exit door very clear and close. my downfall era of bl is coming,
