Oh I got that feeling as well. But I hope he dies with her, he ages with her . Like aging is important too. If she became grandma and he is still like that it would be torture for them as well. Because not only they will look like grandma-grandchild but also it means highly possibly he will have to live after she died all alone ╥﹏╥
This feels like one of those stories where she will age and die at the end and then, the author will give us an open ending where he sees a young version of her across the street a century later or something like that...
