I’m hoping it doesn’t get too far. I remember reading something similar to this but with a male perceptive. I enjoyed it for the psychological horror aspect. Then they threw in incest and gore and I had to drop it .

It’s worrisome that some people can’t see that the fmc isn’t someone to root for. Kinda like midsomnar where people were calling the blonde a girlboss, or even tomie, when really they’re either a victim of a cult, or the abused who became the abuser.
I don’t mind if people like the psychological aspect of the story so long as they understand that these actions aren’t something to condone, which clearly some people are missing the point. And this is coming from someone who was cheated too . I wouldn’t do anything this fav did.
It’s fine as long as you are able to separate fiction from reality. There’s not much to say about “if I would do this in real life.” Which obviously no. They’re mainly rooting for the mc BECAUSE it’s fiction and just wanna see more brutal revenge. Like how those bully manga stories get revenge in torturous ways lmao. Obviously no one would do that or approve of it irl.
True, I feel like a switch is gonna turn in him and he’ll start liking the wife’s craziness. The scene where they’re having sex while they’re playing the sex tape with the other girl. He noticed how different his wife is compared to how they used to do it, and he didn’t seem put off by it. After the revenge, they’re probably gonna be into some freaky shit.
That’s what I was trying to imply lol. I guess I didn’t it clearly, so my bad. I like hinged and irredeemable characters but there are certain scenes that kinda make me give a side eye.
Kinda like how most of us were talking about the fmc sexual assaulted the mistress (stripping her while she was unconscious and taking a picture of her) I hate using the whole “if she was a man in this situation obviously this would be considered harassment”, but I feel like that applies here.
I don’t mind if that part of the story, because we as the readers, know that the fmc is very hinged. So obviously she’s not someone who cares about morals. lol but yeah that’s just something I wanted to clear up
