As if "just following orders" excuses anything. Humans are clearly the worst species in this world. Sure they can't understand animals and monsters, but they're the only species mindlessly killing others, whether the others are friendly or not. The only species betraying and hurting each other for selfish desires. The only species who don't seem to even try to understand other species.
"Just following orders" is just an excuse of a person that's weak-willed, selfish, and easily corruptible.

& if u recall the way the soldier with the pink hair got scared when the blonde headed guy told him that the MC's power reminded him of the Pope's powers - u saw the fear in their eye's?!? that means they not following orders cause of money, or cause they enjoying it - but cause they r scared of the Pope!
