All the hate felt one-sided, like they refused to even see what they were reading. it was like they made up a narrative in their head and stuck to it no matter what the Author/ Artist drew.
My boiling point was when Will SAed Rein after she almost killed herself but the comments became enraged at her ?? It was the most mind-boggling thing I have ever seen.
Right? I really like her, she is one of the best female character I have ever read in manhwa. I really avoided commenting, reading comments and just going with my life. But ohh it pisses me off so bad, now I feel like all this hate is just misogyny. Rein has flaws, that's what makes her more interesting and complex. This story is not typical romance, it's full of difficult themes such as sa, manipulation, death, even drinking problem. This manhwa is not for everyone. If I don't like some story, I just leave it. Rating it without understanding basic schemes is.. uhh
She was WILLING to forgive him if he shown remorse. But he didn't.
For me it's good story, with good characters which I can hate, but not Rein. This is NOT a romance. Even colors are more realistic, not vibrant, dark brown, dark green, the castles are more historical accurate.
All it takes is to try understanding the story, reading dialogues and thinking realistically.
It's the same scheme as Riftan and Maxi. All hate on her, not him. Just because ML's are handsome and have mysterious and cool characters, they're perfect. Even if they're obsessive, manipulative and treating FL badly.

What I don’t agree with is the child neglect part, I get that she has trauma but a mother should never abandon a child. Even she regrets her choice in the latest chapter. I feel bad for the children for being brought into a world where both of their parents aren’t mentally well.
