dogs (domesticated canines) eat a mixed diet of veggies, fruits, grains and meats (similarly to humans) whereas many other canidae catch their prey and eat them. dogs aren't strictly carnivorous...another user commented that foxes are also omnivorous, but that is in the sense that they can also survive off plants, but their main food component consists of meat...with dogs its better for them to have a well rounded diet consisting of the aforementioned foods. lots of dog breeds cant survive just off of raw meats (SORRY FOR THE YAPPING)
This premise is confusing me lol. Aren’t dogs carnivorous? It’s not like they eat vegetables. Why is everyone acting like he’s so different from the other carnivores? He’s clearly not an herbivore…
