I think the trapping had the relation with dokkaebi father too.
About seoho souls I think his souls split up then disappear over the time so that soul in mc body maybe the last piece left of seoho's souls that get split up bc seoho name not registered in that death scroll register so maybe there is also some link with that.
Idk tbh since the plot still unraveling so there is many theories we can craft, it's actually fun when the author can make the reader trying to guess the plot like this
And when they found out seoho souls actually get split up to many pieces because back then he actually helping the dokkaebi by sealing him in that mirror the angst gonna be more delicious, this is just my theory but I like angst so I want this with more knife twist
