Hmmm, maybe because Chahyeon is Narye. Chahyeon hides his true traits to manipulate the main character into thinking he is not Narye. Why? Because he knows that the main character is afraid of Narye. So he hides his traits to act like he is not Narye, even though he actually is. The last five chapters show/explain that Chahyeon is Narye. And no, the guy who kidnapped the main character is not Narye. Chahyeon hired that guy to kidnap the main character to stop any doubts that Chahyeon is Narye. It literally shows that Chahyeon is Narye???

That is not what I meant. What I meant was that even though Narye is Chahyeon's past life does not mean that that is his present self - the narcissistic, obsessive, psychotic character who doesn't care about anyone else but himself.

Most people who have dark triad traits think of themselves as immune. So even if he knew MC was afraid of Narye, it wouldn't matter because he is immune and entitled. The fact that he is hiding it because he is afraid of losing MC again, makes him different from Narye. Still not great. But not Narye.

So, I assumed you were unaware/ didn't know ^^
