Its a universe (subgenre) for bl with supernatural abilities, including Espers and Guides as the main characters, similar to another subgenre -- omegaverse.

guideverse has two main character the guide and the esper. esper usually refer to human being with supernatural power which can get uncontrollable if their power is not contained. one of the way to prevent that was to use a guide which will give them a calming effect and also source of energy. usually guide transfer their energy to esper through sex or any physical contact.
