The ML is so dumb for not realising he was in love with the MC
I mean low key yeah lol but remember when he was barely starting to get deeper feelings the mc abruptly left, ML made himself lock all his feelings cus it was to much and he started self hating. I dont think he ever got a true chance to realize it because he knew he would break if he allowed himself to feel knowing MC wasnt there.in his mind it was lets forget about it and fuck him lol
He fell in love as we see this when we see the younger self, but ML while he was young, has only barely started understanding when he decides to leave Meaning MC. And now, as the cop has broken, symbolizes, his feelings, just finally overflowing, and having to put the puzzles together to what he always has felt, but his bottled up.
