it's a bit different because they have literally grown up together. if there's an age gap and you've grown up together do you suddenly stop being in love with them because you just turned 18? it's a bit more nuanced
Yes? I understand that they're childhood friends but I would at least wait until they're 18 or 19, but even then doing the waiting thing is a bit weird to begin with. it's not hard to NOT get with someone who is still underage, even if you grew up with them, I'm a similar age to karyan and I would rather kms than get with a 15-16 year old even if i knew them growing up
I have friends who are still 17 and like I said even at that age I would NEVER get with them and I knew them when I was 17
children don't have these age gap concepts and we know Karyan has been in love with our mc since they were children. would it make you more comfortable if he randomly gained this knowledge and those feelings that he's been fostering his whole life just...disappeared? that's just not realistic nor fair to him really. you don't want him to pursue (which he isn't), you don't want him to wait (cause it's somehow weird) and you don't want him to feel the same way he's always felt his whole life. such an odd take

read the comment again, I don't think you understood what I was explaining. I don't think random 20yr olds should go around pursuing 16yr olds. I just think it's not odd or crazy that a 20yr old that grew up with the 16yr old is still in love with them after being in love with them their entire lives. you're entitled to your opinion but you were ragging on fans wanting them to be together and I was simply explaining why that isn't crazy. I'm not into the ship myself but the age gap has nothing to do with it
