Sadly, I love the old one better. It touched my soul with how lively the characters are even though it has harsh outline. I think it just added to the HCLW webtoon personality back when the author was drawing it himself
Honestly I agree, there was something really endearing about the old art style, and the harsh outline honestly made the action/hype scenes better, and I liked how different each character looked/how vibrant the world was! Even going back through the old chapters, the art still holds up in my opinion
I'm glad to know you feel the same friend.. makes me feel like I'm not the odd one out. Maybe when the HCLW series end for good I'll read all of them from the beginning again, I definitely miss the early chapters vibe
