funfact; Medically, even in real life not being able to feel pain is a very bad thing. Theres a condition called CIPA (Congenital insensitivity to pain with anhidrosis) in which people do not feel pain, often causing them to die younger due to not noticing injuries/pain/illnesses and not being hospitalised.

So real, it’s also a big concern for those with diabetes. They may not have realized they cut themselves or thought it was a minor scrap but since diabetes affects blood circulation they may not get enough blood in that area to heal properly and sometimes things need to be amputated all without them noticing. Jerry has an autoimmune disorder, we don’t know how dangerous any injury could be.

Yes, exactly. Its very interesting how the human body cannot function without pain. It’s a basic need. And the thing with jerry, I gen hope he starts taking it seriously because my boy aint gonna make it past 20 at this point

Yep, I have to applaud the webcomic writers though. They did a great job adding stakes that make sense for the story so I’m genuinely so interested in what happens next. I can tell they spent a long time on the comics narrative.

Yeah. I remember learning about this through a bl novel I read on wattpad when I was younger of all places. The mc in that story had this condition and one of the main storylines was how he needed to be extra careful with his body because of it. The ml even became a doctor to help with his condition.

Omg right?? I love the way they wrote pretty much everything in this story. From the story line to the plot and character's. Jerry mostly, he’s one of the most realistic and relatable MC ive seen. If this story ends, I’ll read def read the novel after.

That’s interesting, i took medical class for a whole year so i thought you were probably someone in that field as well, since you explained it so well but i love stories that teach people about disorders and illnesses. Hope to see more of such!!

I love how Jerry is written, I’m actually surprised so many people find him annoying. He’s flawed, yes, but in a way a regular person is. I might make different decisions then he did but that doesn’t mean any of his were irrational, just different. He’s not like many of these BL romances where the mc makes only irrational decisions just so there’s a few more chapters.
