well by translation i mean there are spelling errors so i tend to not trust how accurate the bubble texts are or i .. and by story turning around (?) i'm not really into yaoi where they jump into kissing and like sexual acts without much back story or some character build up (which is mainly why i switched to shounen ai)

Well, i can't really do much with the "they jump into kissing and sexual acts without much back story". I'm not the author, i am just translating. If you feel it is too rushed, you need to bring that to the author, she is on twitter.
Also, this is only a 4 chapters story, there will be extra chapter in the tankobon, i see the obi already, it will be available for purchase on the 27th, so i will get the tankobon despite me and takuma usui no fansub already bought the 4 individual ebook chapters.
And with that said, I do find the story a little rush myself, it jumped REALLY quick, more so in chapter 2 than anything else. Again, like i said, that is not my problem. It is the author, i am not an original author, this is just a fan translation.
And as for spelling errors, i do use microsoft word checks, and i don't type it in while doing my typeset, but instead i copy and paste AFTER microsoft sensei checked it. Not saying there still won't be errors, but to say there are spelling errors, is a little stretching it. You are essentially saying Microsoft Word spelling checks is bad here.
I am not defending myself, as i seek to improve, but if you can, you can do it here or email me with detailed examples of where the errors are. I can spot some of the one i did and most of them are grammatical, like it should have been borrow instead of borrowed for example in one of the bubble. I would have appreciate it more rather than you just say "so many mistakes" but not pointing it out exactly where. It makes it look like you are undermining me in front of all these other readers.
As I myself just made that same mistake recently with what I wrote on my blog and offending another scanlator, i realised when you want to make this kind of statement, you should be able to back it up properly if not it just look malicious.
I hope that conveys how i feel when i read it and especially after looking at your comment history too. you hurt my feelings there.

You feeling 'hurt' by my comment is really coming out of nowhere. Its nice knowing you went thru my history of comments even though i literally don't ever cause any weird situations. real nice there honey. if you actually read what i wrote you'd see theres nothing against YOU in there. This is actually really pissig me off.

I am pretty sure I wasn't the only one misunderstanding base on the reply of the other person asking what's wrong with the translation???
And looking through your comment history, you said same thing about joou to shiteya, which got me curious and went to look at that said chapter, but i don't really see what's so wrong with it. Naturally, that got me thinking, well this is normal for you? I can't decide if you were trolling or not with that, of course I will feel hurt after seeing that, especially since i took the care to check the translation and stuff even though i did the whole thing myself from cleaning, typing and translating in 3 days.
Your OP wasn't phrased properly, I reread it a few times to actually trying to make sense what is it about MY translations that was mistake laden and because there wasn't really proper punctuation in your OP, so i have to draw my own conclusions. To me, it meant to sound that as if you are accusing me of epicly mistranslating. Naturally, i want to know what is it. You can't just say "ALOT OF MISTAKES" and then just leave it like that. Mistakes, where? point it out exactly. That will help me in the future and that in turn actually helps you because it'll make my translation for a better read.
If you actually feel pissed, maybe work on proper punctuation when commenting, or elaborate properly? Maybe that way, i can actually understand exactly what you mean ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/40/u126166_50x50.jpg?2)
im not translating so i dont give fck about my punctuating ONE. TWO: if you cant see syntax errors: NOT MY PROBLEM. THREE: learn to take criticism: someone tells you there are errors, don't take it personal, learn from it. You literally went thru how many of my comment pages to find that ONE comment about a chapter having mistakes in it. FOUR: really? someone tells you a word is spelled wrong or a sentence does not make sense and you feel hurt?.. wow. just wow. The other person was also confused about my very simple message? too bad for them. i'm pissed because i literally said 'i didnt mean to offend you; i always appreciate ppl who translate' and then you go off on me . Dude, if you have such low confidence that you need to start explaining your 'translation process' then its not my problem. and LASTLY: i dont need to take pictures and mark every mistake i see. I saw some, made a comment about it and you take it personally. If you can't accept the fact that YOU made mistakes.. again: not my problem.

you wrote such a ragey post but yet you still didn't point out, to quote your own words,
" the mistakes made the translation seem unreliable" & "well by translation i mean there are spelling errors so i tend to not trust how accurate the bubble texts are"
All I am asking:
ONE: What are the mistakes that made the translation seems unreliable? Can you tell me?
TWO: Where are the spelling errors?
I looked over my script, i looked over the upload. Maybe i am that blind. Maybe it is really too bad for me, but if you want to say stuff like that, at least do a full job, don't just say what you did and then just leave it at that.
You still failed to point out the mistakes then go all ragey. I'm not low on confidence... i am curious about where you think those mistakes are. There's a difference? If i am low in confidence, i wouldn't have published it in the first place.
I am accepting the fact that I can make mistakes. Hence, I jwant to know WHERE are they? Point it out, because I really want to bloody know. (҂⌣_⌣)
This seems like a wasted conversation... :s

I also noticed mistakes in the translation, and so I'd like to point them out. They aren't spelling errors though, more so just plural/singular and past/present/future tense errors. Overall, your translation was really good though, and these are very, very minor things I noticed, and not something so great that you'd need to go back and fix them. Just maybe keep a look out for those in the next chapter! But thank you for doing your best to translate it. (=・ω・=)

Big thank you. Exactly the kind of thing I am looking for. I have atrocious grammar, i admit it first hand. Thus, unless it is very glaring that even a grammar retard like me can notice, i wouldn't know unless it is pointed out so i can take note.
It's just that bloody simple rather than just saying vaguely that it is a "unreliable translation" then followed by saying it's "spelling errors" without anything to show for it. If you were the translator, wouldn't you be offended? To me it just felt like the other person was purposely trying to make me look bad.
yeah, i still feel salty at being raged at.
Whatever, thank you again.
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/62/u115877_50x50.jpg?2)
Of course, no problem at all! In comparison to some translations I've seen, your grammar is still far better! I do understand why you would take offense, but I also to some degree think that part of being a translator means that not everyone will approve of the translation, nor will they always take the time to write out the errors when mentioning that fact. x:
I don't think the other person was trying to attack you or make you look bad, just that they noticed the errors, but had no time or patience to go through and point out each one of them. So I think the best thing to do if it happens again would be to just ignore it, and continue doing what you can in your translations! But those are just my thoughts.

Although I agree with almost everything u said, one thing I've learned, people out there take their own time to translate this for us for free. If we spot a few error and go on bitching about it ( which this person didn't) then we r seen as ingrate (which I agree) and I experienced it myself while I was translating some works before I made one grammar mistake and I was mocked for. People just have to mind their words and keep to themselves and above all be thankful someone is trying for us.
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/62/u115877_50x50.jpg?2)
But you have to understand that pointing out errors or mistakes isn't 'mocking', it is constructive criticism, and there to help the translator potentially improve (unless, as you said, it is incredibly harsh -- then I'd consider it mocking). I did state that certainly everyone is extremely grateful to the translators who take up these projects of their own accord, but that doesn't mean we fans should simply hold our tongues, when maybe a critique or two could actually be of use to the translator.
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/8f/u11525_50x50.jpg?2)
It's just like I said depends how u phrase what you say. While u might think you are not being rude with your words translators might feel the total opposite of that, in my case I felt as if the person mocked me and in this person case she felt offended because the way the other person said wasn't right or a criticism in her point of view it was more like a "complaint".
All I'm saying is, people out there take their time to work on these for us for free and if they stop then they stop, done. So although her translation might not have been the best we need to consider that like many translators out there she probably tried her best and she probably tried her best in her choice of words so leaving a comment with something like " so many mistakes" when they probably spent idk how many hours will make anybody feel mad specially when you don't point out the mistakes it just seems like you are complaining and u could do better than the translators totally forgetting the fact that English is not everyone's native language, it could be her second or third.
That's all.
igarashi is babe buut. the mistakes made the translation seem unreliable and the story just took a turn i got over years ago. again, really too bad cause damn igarashi
