I believe the actual reason why Ido didn’t want to disclose the engagement was because Ido didn’t want Sejin to be asociated by Seonho, so Sejin can leave Ido whenever he wants when the time’s ready without social pressure. Ido’s goal in 2nd TL is to make Sejin independent and free from him, not to make Sejin stays lol that was why he changed the marriage into engagement in 2nd TL as well

Honestly I didn't go that much further so Sejin gets sexually harassed by Ido's brother and after that not much else happens. Sejin start going to a perfume making workshop and then Ido's niece visit them and then he gets his heat and that's where I stop because Ido was getting on my nerves.

I read the novel not everything because I don't like how the story turned out in the second season but brace yourselves girlies cause next chapter is rough. I had hopes that the manhwa wouldn't follow the novel but it does well so far at least.
My main point of contention is that Ido should make their engagement public I think him saying that it's for the sake of Sejin is bs tbh because poor Sejin has no protection outside the house like he went against his family like if he doesn't at least have the protection of being Ido's fiancé then he is literally a nobody like that pisses me off so damn much like the author is writing Ido like this timeline is his redemption ark but like he is still a giant piece of shit.
Season 1 was so good I was so in love with the story but like the author ruined it fr fr. I just want Sejin to be happy he is soft pleeaaase ╥﹏╥
