Actually interesting, not realistic and that’s ok

I understand the points some people are making about this manga, yeah it’s kind of fucked up, but as the author said (if I remember well) they enjoy stories about recovering from trauma. I may be overanalizing this but Sui wanting to use the shackles and engage in sexual activity to be able to sleep isn’t all that weird. He endured terrible trauma, a lot of abuse victims will seek things that comforted them during the time they were being abused even if they’re safe now, because it’s a long process to live normally after that. I really do think “Demon” had no ill intention, like he genuinely doesn’t have the tools to help Sui deal with that trauma realistically because 1. The context of the world they live in and 2. It’s a bl manga and not a good place if ur looking for realism.
I personally like this author because I like calm, lighthearted stories without much drama, but I also understand why people dislike some of their work. Anyways, I’m looking forward to see the characters heal and progress!

Well yeah he doesn't have bad intentions but that doesn't make his actions good.

Also, in the context of the world they live in, Demon literally said there is a guy who takes the victims and helps them so there is someone who can actually help them but Demon wanted Sui so he kept him and he didn't even ask anyone how to help Sui unlearn the things he was taught.
