bc some ppl actually want to read the officials, it makes more sense than the unofficial. as for years after, maybe the officials just came out...
no need to be so rude lol!! ik the unofficial translations weren’t bad esp for the first story but since I found the officials and they were well done and neat, i wanted to preserve them at least for myself. if it bothers u then just move on haha
To me, it seems kind of pointless because the quality of both the scans and the translations are relatively the same. I felt the same way with another manga that was "updated" just recently, one that is currently on a hiatus for a few years now. Nothing wrong with the unofficial translations at all, but showing up as a new update after years really dampers the mood when it hasn't actually updated.
Do we really need that many uploads? It just ends up as clutter IMO. I apologize if my initial comment was rude, but to me, it left a lot of disappointment.
Just to add, and I don't want to direct this towards only you, but when a series with many chapters get 2-3 different uploaders, it makes the reading experience especially bad. This is mainly because the way the sight operates, the chapters are often times mixed up. So you can read the next chapter with varying degrees of quality from the previous.
Ideally, if another uploader can upload better quality scans and translations, it should replace the old ones and not show up as a new update much less added on top of the other ones too.
i do understand where you're coming from, multiple uploaders can be rlly cluttering. but i personally found the second story translation to be a bit hard to understand at times, which is what motivated me to upload the officials, we all are have diff perspectives yk. i'm sorry you felt disappointed but then again, that obvs wasn't my intention and it's unnecessary to like, put the blame on me? i also j don't know how to replace old ones lol. either way, since this is ur take i wont upload the extra.
Because the unofficial ones (after ch 1) are a bit sloppy translation wise and are incomplete.
My bad. I don't want you to feel terrible for what you were doing. It's mainly a site issue honestly. I understand that you want to make reading more enjoyable for other people. The gesture is great, but with the way the site runs, things end up bloated WHEN there are other uploads of the same chapters too.
There's tons of solutions like making divided sections for separate uploaders or translation types (unofficial, official), etc. The site hasn't made any upgrades to navigation and other features in a long time.
My disappointment shouldn't stop you for doing what you were doing. I'm only a single person too. If it makes other people happy, then continue your uploads.
no it’s ok, I was a bit baffled at first but I do see what you mean!! ik how confusing things can get lol, the battle when chapters r all out of order is so messy. mangago is great at times but ur right they haven’t done many changes and they also don’t make it easy at all for people to learn how to upload, etc I’ll probably upload the extra for prosperity but I figured out how to do it w/o notifs so!!
Why is there a need to upload the official verisons years after the unofficial ones? Not like the unofficial ones were bad. I don't understand this at all. It seems relatively dumb.
