Not really. This I adult content do it's not so much this kind of site?!? Ppl create stories n write about them and illustrate them and you know are paid for their jobs?!? U know, like on legit platforms. So it's not the "site" it's the adult content if you actually has the ability to access it.

the ml being the abuser is the point lmao. people don't just like noncon for no reason; here there's a compelling plot and complex characters that warrant morally dubious behavior, and that's why folks give it a high rating. nobody is denying the fact that the ml is a trigger-happy genocidal abuser, but we're here because we want to see where the author will proceed with a character like that and how the mc will avenge his mom.

i agree that there's a lot of unnecessary noncon in this genre, and I've dropped many bl's before due to it. but assuming any work that has it is automatically low-quality and anyone who reads it has bad taste... shows a lack of media literacy in your part. you didn't even read it to see

for yourself why it deserves criticisms. if you don't like reading about noncon, then move on. if you want to make some grand sweeping statement about the genre, then at least take the time to know exactly why this bl has a shitty plot and why it deserves a low rating.

for what it’s worth i don’t mind if ppl enjoy this kind of thing. i know what i said was harsh, honestly i’m just tired of the noncon trope in every single bl and every one just letting it slide. but for those that openly like dark content for what it is and acknowledge that it’s fucked up, that’s fine. i’ve seen way too many stories that pretend abuse never happened and turn into a “cute romance”.

i guess also it’s frustrating that a i will enjoy a dark romance, but it seems like it always has to have tons of noncon to be dark. like it can be toxic without the SA, y’know?
