I feel you.
not sure how much of this is driven because the subjects are men, and that whole "dominance" trait is really twisted.. like I'd like to contrast it with Yuri plot lines, but like ..I can't... boobies ... #shudders#
God forbid we get to enjoy reading healthy stories with good plot and great characters.

why is it mostly the melodramatic, toxic stories that get picked up? along with adding extra hierarchy and discrimination into an already very hierarchical society. it's only ever used to justify noncon too... can't we branch out?
