well technically BL is just a term that replaced “yaoi”, and that’s exactly how it’s used in southeast asia. nothing else changed in the genre, just its name. harada’s work were always considered yaoi/BL yet i see no one crying under her manga and saying it’s not yaoi because there’s no love.
