I’m just a casual reader and I’m not leaning in any particular direction. But if Kaya is the endgame in this I hope the author gives him character development because his thinking towards Ranko is twisted. Particularly the part where he doesn’t seem to want her to have any friends while she secretly does want to have friends. I get the part where he gets jealous and stuff. But going as far as to not wanting her to have friends or involve herself with anyone at all except for himself is a lonely existence. Maybe he changes later. But as far as I read Kaya seems to want her to have nobody but himself in her life.
