I doubt it's going to happen before Evangeline becomes an adult, at least from what we've seen with the past 100 chapters I have faith that it's going to be done well. Age-gap relationships can work if written right.

Am I a fan of this news? Not really, no. I would've hoped that if Evangeline was going to get with anyone, it would've been someone closer to her in age, like Damian (that may seem an odd combo to some, but if written right I can easily see it work) and same goes for Lucas. There's a lot of dynamics that make it feel iffy, but I can also see how it could work. It really depends on how it gets written into the story in the future (and exactly how old Lucas and Ash are).

I'm not the biggest fan of age-gap relationships but again, I have some faith in the story with what I've seen so far. Sure, there have been disappointing moments (ie. perverted bathhouse fantasy joke) and I'll definitely keep this in mind to not keep my hopes up,,,, yeah, if you wanna drop this story, fair. Thanks for the warning for the rest of us

I'm just disappointed by how Lucas and Eva relationship turned out, was hoping it could be a found family of their party members.

I can see with Damian but I was actually hoping Eva met someone not as battle-heavy, maybe even someone like how her mom was to her dad. Someone not at all close to the battlefield maybe a noble or an actual gardener/mage that can grow her estates garden, it could have been a parallel to her parent's relationship and she would finally understand how her father felt now that she's in the same situation. Putting Lucas and Eva together seems like the obvious power couple but I love their banter as found-siblings more.

So, a bonding between faith and loyalty for one man leads to romance--? Wtf? What kind of shit ass romance is that?? Evangeline could've ended up with someone else☠☠ Lucas could end up with the hot lady of the church and I would not gaf because she's gorgeous but EVANGELINE out of anyone else???
