I agree with you, reading the novels are a better option to be frank. I can confirm, that some of my favorites are ruined by the webtoon artist destroying the plot by skipping everything. Baby Hostage So Cute skipped over 50 chapters of content from the beginning and summarized entire archs from the full 400+ novel chapters as a single sentence. Absolutely ruined it, no one understood anything in the webtoon.
Another one, just came out and completely butchered it, Terminally I'll Villainess Refuses Adoption also acted like bullet points were the entire plot and skipped everything from beginning. I'm so disappointed in most webtoons these days, definitely check novel if it feels incomplete. Then you can just enjoy the scenes they did draw decently enough as novel art on its own. Very sad that they are doing this instead of actually drawing the whole story....

You can buy them in Google play or Ridibooks as your best bet, once done in episode syndication. However, I read on Booktoki too, as well Novel Updates tells you where to find translated material.
Technically, I own absolutely thousands by now and maybe got through about a third of my bought series. Ridibooks has amazing 50%+ off sets as actual volumes, so buying them is super cheap. They come complete for the whole set, as a full series. You just have to know how to translate them. I drop so many these days, there's loads I found out were tr*sh after I bought them, so I now screen everything for stupid MC's or Toxic bs through spoilers or webtoon adaptations on new stuff.
Most of the time, the novels are still better. If you want to check Kakaopage or Naver, they have the one's still in syndication or unfinished free. Naver even does whole releases for a period while running and adds art to those on their serialization. Those are free and translate in browser....
Hope this helps. (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
This manhwa series surely left out some parts from the novel. When this manhwa came out and I read chapters 1-6, I’ve decided that I wanted to read the novel, and so I did. I finished reading the novel yesterday and upon coming back here to read the new chapters added, I was quite disappointed on how many scenes were skipped. The drawing and art came off as quite messy for me. Maybe it’s just me but I suggest for everyone to read the novel instead. The plot is well-written and the dialogue of the characters are so in-depth. Anyways, I love Wilhelm and Anastasia so much. They are so cute together!!
