It's not even that, author really could've shown the red haired guy in jail or repent like losing his business and all bs, except they made us sympathise with the character and LITERALLY SHOWED HIM GETTING R*PED LIKE WTF????? that was so sick man and that best friend was also a piece of shit, I hated him even more, atleast red haired guy wasn't pretentious or hypocrite.
