oh the reason for this is actually pretty nice. their names are different in every translation, but they always mean the same - sky and cloud. the name change happens to show the connection between the characters and the importance of their relationship more. From the official physical copy of litc in italian: "Lost in the Cloud (original title “Cloud”) is a Boys Love (BL) and “coming of age” story about the growth and relationship between Cirrus and Skylar. For our edition of Lost In The Cloud we have decided to keep the names of the protagonists from the official English edition of L*zhin (the original publisher of the work), names by which our protagonists are known around the world. In Korean, however, the two boys’ names are Hyunwoon and Haneul respectively. Hyunwoon means “cloud”, from which the name Cirrus is derived (in fact cirrus is a type of cloud), while Haneul means “sky”, and for him we have Skylar (from sky, precisely). We thought this little explanation could help better understand the relationship between Cirrus and Skylar, and the roots on which their story will be built."
I have a question for you guys uhm: how do you pronounce Cirrus' name? I really need to know because I DON'T KNOW HOW PLEASE HELP ME
