I was young, came from a broken family, and he was a good provider. However, he had a bad temper and tended to cheat. He was also good at playing carrot and stick.
What I remember most from back then is that if I left, I didn’t know where I’d go, so I just stuck around until I got tired, learned to stand up for myself, and left.
This might be why I read these types of novels and comics—I find them relatable, and they remind me of how foolish I was.
Am I missing something or?? I feel like the guide's level affection for the commander came out of nowhere. Babe? You can be rougher next time? I knew he had complex feelings for the commander but they didn't seem to reach that gushy level yet. Was it because his brother died or something? Where did all this sugar sweet affection come from?
