What's the name of this manga

So I remember reading this on mrm long ago. The characters were buddhists I think? I think they were trainee monks, they all had shaved heads, including mc. I'm not sure what country the story takes place in but it's not in modern day japan. I remember mc having a pretty face. He had a one sided crush on his friend who is also a trainee monk. Not sure if he directly confessed but I know he got rejected. It stays unrequited till the end. I wouldn't call it BL, I don't remember having any romance here. At the last chapters I think there was a scene of a place burning? Or maybe not idk I dont remember muchh
